Feature Offering
During our analysis of content distribution services, time is spent comparing different features and functions of the software in regards to how they assist in distributing different types of content across different channels. We analyze whether the features impact the overall quality of the software, whether the features are easy to use and intuitive, and whether they hold up to similar services provided by their competition.
Content SyndicationÂ
Our analysis of content syndication focuses on how well the content is distributed across different channels both from a depth perspective and how the content is being represented across each of the channels. It is important for content to not only be distributed across effective channels of communication, but it is also important that the content is being uniquely represented in each of the channels.
AutomationÂ
The automation component of the analysis focuses on whether the features in the software allow for the content to be distributed automatically while also allowing for specific meta information to be automatically generated. We determine whether the features are truly useful in automating various aspects including titles, tags, and relevant information which different channels require in order to categorize content.
Quality ControlÂ
Another important area of our analysis focuses on how much effort is placed into quality control. It is important for the channels in which content is being distributed to be of high quality in order to prevent the content from harming the beneficiary. We analyze whether there are both automated and manual systems of quality control and how the company approaches ensuring a high quality and relevance of where content is distributed.
DiversityÂ
The overall diversity of different channels for content distribution is another crucial element of the evaluation process. We analyze the types of channels which are included in the distribution network, the different industries which are being represented, and the audiences of the different channels. Having a diverse network ensures that content is being represented in channels which make sense to the context of the content.
